This class, provided by Gulley Greenhouse, helps guide you through planting a succulent garden, while learning care tips for your plants, all while enjoying delicious beer at Old Colorado Brewing! Come visit our very own 2019 Butterfly Pavilion here at Gulley Greenhouse and Garden Center! From June 1st to June 8th you can explore our free event and learn more about nature’s fluttering pollinators. Create a nectar and pollen "cafe" for passing pollinators! We'll plant our pots with ornamental annuals and culinary herbs to provide a good source of nectar and pollen for bees, butterflies, and other little helpers. KIDS CLUB EVERY SUNDAY IN JUNE FROM 2:30-3:15 PM 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23 Foster your child's love for nature in the Gulley Sprouts Kids Club. Nature crafts, gardening projects, pollinator education... the joy abounds! Each Sunday will have a different activity so children won't find themselves repeating projects month to month. The latest trend in mimicking your vining houseplant's natural habitat is to create mossy poles for them to attach to! The plants we often think of as "trailers" are really more often "climbers" in the wild. We'll create 24" moss poles with sphagnum moss and bamboo, sink them in a large pot and plant it with a 4" philodendron or pothos.
