Class is intended for ages 10 and up as hot beeswax will be used. For the $25 cost of the class all materials will be supplied and you will take home your very own lasting memory of autumn.
Hypertufa is a way of creating rustic, textured containers from a mixture of Portland cement, vermiculite, peat moss, and water. Join us for this hands on workshop to make your own hypertufa container. During the class you will learn how to mix the concrete mixture, drape the mold and how to finish your cast. Projects will be available to pick up on Wednesday, October 4th, once the concrete mixture has begun to set. Tickets are $45 each, all supplies and materials are included. Attendees should wear clothing that can get dirty!
