Hope, the Peperomia

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Hope. She would like everyone to know that they CAN be successful plant parents! Put her in a spot with bright indirect light and watch her go with the flow. Hope is considered semi-succulent so you can let her dry out between soakings. She is curious about her surroundings and will trail around, discovering new things... but you can always trim her tips to keep her closer to home.

Mimi, the Mimosa pudica (Sensitive Plant)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Mimi. She has a reputation for quickly closing her leaves and looking wilted. Her tendency towards sensitivity just means she feels sensations and emotions more deeply than others. But don't worry, she just needs some "me time" and she'll open up and be back at the party. She's a great friend for kids, helping them develop an interest in plants, and delightful for adults too! Her occasional flowers are pink puffballs right out of a storybook. Mimi enjoys a room with bright indirect light and an even touch with the water (she's not a fan of soggy roots).

Leona, the Crassula Ovata “Lemon & Lime” (Var. Jade)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Leona. She's an elegant variegated jade with light cream and green stripes on her leaves. When grown in bright enough light she turns pink on the tips of new growth! Jade plants are a symbol of good luck and this graceful beauty brings a joyful luck with her wherever she grows.

Morgana, the Stapelia gigantea (Starfish Flower)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Morgana. She is confident in her defiance of society's rule that flowers are sugary sweet. She grows as a sturdy clumping succulent and when she blooms, wow! Her starfish shaped blossoms are captivating to look at with their fleshy, 5-pointed, stars that can reach a foot in size. Some find the aroma of her flowers a little tricky to get used to but her powerful presence is a must for any true collector's sill!

Elizabeth, the Senecio rowleyanus (String of Pearls)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Elizabeth With her timeless elegance like heirloom pearls around the neck, she never goes out of style! She is simple to care for but her simple style is anything but average. She grows best in bright indoor light, and a dash of diluted houseplant fertilizer every month keeps her fashion game strong! In a take-charge way, she'll let you know when it's time to water again by deflating her pearls a bit and looking less than succulent. So pay attention because overwatering is the quickest way to say goodbye to this beauty.

Effie, the Fittonia argyroneura (Nerve Plant)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Effie. Her nerves are on display but in the vein of pluckiness rather than timidity. She loves a good tromp though humid climes and will always appreciate the gift of a humidity tray or regular misting. She even encourages you to create a tiny terrarium adventure for her, as it's one of her favorite habitats! Not a desert gal, Effie prefers filtered gentle light and will get a sunburn in direct sunlight.

Ramona, the Peperomia puteolata (Parallel Peperomia)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Ramona. She hits the personality sweet spot...neither too trendy nor too eccentric. She likes straight lines as you can tell by her leaf pattern and her stems. But check out the red on her stems and you'll see she has a little bit of sass tucked away! Semi-succulent, so go easy on the water and give her bright light (but not direct sun).

Finch, the Begonia coccinea (Angel Wing Begonia)

1" STARTER PLANT *Terracotta pot in photo sold separately. Meet Finch As playful as his name suggests, Finch will fill your house with wonder and gaiety. His leaves are shaped like the wings of birds, with pretty little delicate pink flowers that will flutter underneath in the summertime. Finch prefers filtered light, as if he were frolicking in a woodland meadow. If you forget to water this little guy, he will begin to droop his stems in sadness. However, he is quick to forgive and perk up again just as soon as he has a nice drink!
