2023-24 Holiday Shipping Schedule:
NO SHIPPING THANKSGIVING WEEK. All orders placed between 11/13 and 11/26 will ship on Monday, 11/27.
Monday, 12/11/23, is the last day of online live plant shipping for the season. We will resume shipping in March 2024. The brick and mortar store here in Fort Collins will be open for shopping but the plant section on the website will be on hold until spring. Seeds and soil will continue to ship. Please contact us with questions.

Meet Gandalf the Grey. He wields the silver sword, Glamdring, a magic Elven blade created in the forges of old. If he comes across trolls or fungus gnats, he’ll turn them to stone by bringing the dawn with his magic. Gandalf arrives with courage and hope to the sills of friends.

We recommend planting this plug in our Aroid potting soil.

***IMPORTANT NOTE:
THIS PLANT SHIPS AS A 1″ FULLY ROOTED STARTER PLANT, AS SHOWN IN THE SECOND PHOTO. It will come wrapped in moss and tucked in a growers pot for safety. The terra cotta pot with the mature plant, shown in the first photo, is not included.
If you order multiple plants, we put them together in one pot so they stay moist longer. If you think we haven’t sent the full order, please take out the plants from the pot first to count them.

WINTER SHIPPING HAS BEGUN! We diligently check your location’s lows before shipping and will add an insulated liner and heat pack if temps will be below 40 anywhere along the route. This is included in the shipping cost and requires no further action on your part other than placing an order.

Notes:

  • Grows most vigorously in a bright, warm area (direct sun can cause leaf burn).
  • Likes regular water, somewhat drought tolerant, never let the bottom of the pot sit in water! If leaves are turning yellow and falling off, it's likely over-watered.
  • Wipe leaves with a damp cloth when they become dusty.
  • Toxic to pets and people.
  • Skill Level: Intermediate
