2023-24 Holiday Shipping Schedule:

Monday, 12/11/23, is the last day of online live plant shipping for the season. We will resume shipping in March 2024. The brick and mortar store here in Fort Collins will be open for shopping but the plant section on the website will be on hold until spring. Seeds and soil will continue to ship. Please contact us with questions.
Meet Leif! The lights rise nightly on this 4th generation acorn farmer. With a burning passion for modern dance, Leif left the family farm to tour with Isadora Duncan, until the unfortunate scarf incident. Now he dances solo, using his expressive hands to tell the history of the world’s most famous mighty oaks from humble acorn to sweeping branch. You might need to bear with him on the real interpretive bits, it’s a work in progress.
We recommend planting this plug in our Epiphyte soil.
THIS PLANT SHIPS AS A 1″ FULLY ROOTED STARTER PLANT, AS SHOWN IN THE SECOND PHOTO. It will come wrapped in moss and tucked in a growers pot for safety. The terra cotta pot with the mature plant, shown in the first photo, is not included. If you order multiple plants, we put them together in one pot so they stay moist and insulated. If you think we haven’t sent the full order, please take out the plants from the pot first to count them.
WINTER SHIPPING HAS BEGUN! We diligently check your location’s lows before shipping and will add an insulated liner and heat pack if temps will be below 40 anywhere along the route. This is included in the shipping cost and requires no further action on your part other than placing an order.
