Fertilome Start-N-Grow Premium Plant Food (9-16-12) is a premium slow-release fertilizer designed for use at planting time and doubles as a maintenance fertilizer. Maintain professional looking plants and landscapes consistently throughout the growing season.

  • For use on containers indoors and outdoors, bedding plants, ornamentals, roses, trees, shrubs and lawns
  • On your new plants, incorporate 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 tablespoons per foot of expected growth height, and reapply every 3 to 4 months during the growing season. Established Plants need 2 to 2 1/2 tablespoons for each foot of plant height in the early spring and again every 3 to 4 months

    • Caution: When fertilizing sensitive plants, always use the lower fertilizer rate. Sensitive plants include rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns, violets, and orchids
