Gulley Greenhouse in the Colorado Community
As a garden center and greenhouse, we have the opportunity to use our products and resources to make a difference. We know it takes a whole community to make a business thrive, so we like to give back to the people who contribute to our success. We make it a top priority to sponsor events that directly support our community, families and children.

In 2016, we donated a percentage of all the purple flowering plant sales to the Alzheimer’s Association. Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. We choose to support this wonderful organization with our flowers, purple ones that is!
Last year, during Mother’s Day weekend, we joined with Big O Tires and delivered 400 flowering plants to nursing homes and assisted living centers in the area. Big O Tires started this wonderful tradition after witnessing mothers in nursing homes that had no one to celebrate them. Since we are strong believers that all moms deserve flowers for Mother’s Day, we decided to help them in their pursuit. This year, we will be delivering 650!
We have supported many school organizations throughout Northern Colorado with plants, seeds, soil and much more.
Gulley’s most popular fundraiser for local nonprofit youth organizations is the Gift Card Fundraiser. Organizations raised almost $8000 in cash in 2016.
We also help out local groups with our Mother’s Day carry out and Food and Bake Sale Fundraisers. These wonderful groups of kids come out to the greenhouse on our busiest days and help us lug out soil and plants or sell delicious food to our customers (and employees!). We couldn’t make it through spring without them! Participants raised over $3,000 in 2016!
We host a yearly rose pot up where groups come and help us pot up roses for the upcoming year. This not only helps us accomplish a large amount of work in a short amount of time, but it also allows these groups to earn money! We pay the groups for the amount of roses that they plant, this year Alpine Robotics planted 3,775 roses in one day! Wowza… that is a lot of roses!
Throughout the 2016 year, Gulley Greenhouse is proud to announce that a grand total of $15,800 was given back to the community.
Our 2017 Easter Eggstravaganza will benefit the Pathways Children’s Garden Project. This is a free event geared towards children and families. Come see us on Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m to enjoy time together, visiting the Easter Bunny, holding baby bunnies, playing a jigsaw puzzle hunt, face painting by Razzle of Loveland and more! We feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful place to live. Our deepest gratitude goes to all of our customers, because thanks to you, it is possible for Gulley’s to support our community.
