Gulley Greenhouse offers educative and interactive greenhouse tours, learn how we grow the flowers that you will put in your garden this season.
We grow plants in different ways and every variety or plant type requires different care and different growing process.
Come learn and start growing your own plants. Gulley Greenhouse offers tours to all the public in general. We specialize in school groups, garden and science club tours, families and individuals. This is a great option for a field trip!
Junior Tour: Kindergarten, Preschool- First or Second Graders

Description: In this tour the attendee will learn 3 sides of our operation area, Retail, Shipping and Production. Senior Tour or Guided Shopper Experience-Special Needs or

Description: o Tour of Cold Frames, which are very close to the Retail parking area. If the group is fairly mobile, Walk to the N Greenhouses pointing out our different soil bins (what we use to make our potting and growing mixes), and our recycle trailer. Then enter the Retail Greenhouse (N1); explain the how it is different from the cold frame.
Exit Greenhouse and show the Tag Room, Monorail system, and Custom Potting Area.
If the group prefers we can go directly to the retail area, skipping the above!
Enter Retail. Show sitting area with water offered. Tour our houseplants, annuals, herbs, and veggies greenhouses. Show containers, which are suitable for small places, patios, indoors, etc. Help with hanging baskets if needed. Explain on where and how to plant, place for light requirements, watering and fertilizer. Focus on what they could use for their specific space. Help pot-up a small container if desired.
