The Cistena Purple Leaf Plum (Prunus × cistena) also known as a Sand Cherry is a deciduous ornamental shrub that produces beautiful blossoms in early spring. Features deep purple leaves and yields round, reddish fruit in late summer. This thick-growing, long-lived shrub can also be trained as a small tree if desired.
