Rose ‘Chicago Peace’
Fat, high-centered buds are almost as lovely as a fully open bloom! A beautiful sport of the famous ‘Peace’, this lovely 1962 introduction has its parent’s beauty with richer, darker hues and larger blooms. Very floriferous, this upright shrub sets huge quantities of 5- to 5 ½-inch pink flowers borne from high-centered buds, each suffused with an overlay of canary yellow. Blooms have 50 to 60 petals and are lightly perfumed. ‘Chicago Peace’ reaches 4 feet tall and wide, making a strong presence in the sunny garden.
