Lilac, Common White
Syringa vulgaris Alba
A wonderful old fashioned shrub with vigorous growth and attractive upright form. It blooms lovely, single white flowers that are richly scented, paired with light blue-green foliage. The blooms arrive mid-spring to early summer. The Common White lilac is very similar to the Common Purple lilac. This bush makes for a wonderful informal screen or hedge in the landscape.
