Tall flowers make an excellent backdrop to garden beds and bouquets! Grow in masses for a compelling display of light and dark blue blossoms. Reseeds readily. Larkspur blooms in the cooler weather of late spring and early summer, and in mild summer climates can continue through fall. Caution: All parts of this plant are toxic if ingested.

When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. 4 to 6 weeks before average last frost or as soon as soil can be worked, or in fall before average first frost.

When to Start Inside: 6 to 8 weeks before average last frost. Does not transplant well. Either start outdoors or sow into pulp pot and plant directly into soil to minimize transplant shock.
