Helianthus 'Low Down'
Recomended: Sunflower look for front of garden borders and beds. An explosion of bright yellow flowers with dark brown eyes forms in midfall on small upright plants. Narrow elongated foliage. Place in front of beds or borders. Birds enjoy the seeds. Superb in combination with Ornamental Grasses and late-flowering Garden Mums and Asters.

Soil Moisture: Average well-drained soils. Avoid wet soggy areas
Hardiness: Zones 6 to 9
Culture: Prefers average well-drained soils. Grows best with added moisture but can tolerate drought. Allow seed heads to remain for winter food for birds. Divide clumps in spring or fall every 3 to 4 years.
